Qatar Design Consortium W L L QDC is seeking an experienced Asset Integrity Manager with strong expertise in static and rotating equipment for industrial and oil and gas facilities The successful candidate will lead the development implementation maintenance and monitoring of the Asset Integrity Management System AIMS ensuring that plant assets and equipment operate safely reliably and in compliance with applicable codes standards regulations and client requirements throughout their lifecycle
Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement monitor and maintain the Asset Integrity Management System AIMS including related policies procedures and strategies
- Lead risk-based inspection RBI corrosion management fitness-for-service FFS assessments and integrity management programmes
- Manage inspection testing and maintenance programmes for static equipment piping pressure vessels heat exchangers storage tanks structures and associated systems
- Oversee the integrity of rotating equipment including pumps compressors turbines motors and associated systems
- Oversee the integrity of safety-critical elements and ensure their performance standards are met
- Review inspection plans and reports analyse integrity data and trends and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve safety reliability and availability
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements client specifications QatarEnergy requirements and applicable international codes and standards including API ASME ISO and NACE
- Coordinate with operations maintenance engineering and HSE teams as well as internal and external stakeholders on integrity-related matters
- Prepare asset integrity reports key performance indicators KPIs and management review presentations
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and supervise and guide integrity engineers inspectors and contractors
- Support audits incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote technical knowledge sharing and best practices across projects
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Petroleum Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 20 years of asset integrity experience, with a strong focus on static and rotating equipment.
- Proven experience in industrial and oil and gas facilities across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
- In-depth knowledge of AIMS, RBI, FFS, corrosion management, damage mechanisms, and integrity assurance.
- Practical experience applying relevant codes and standards, including API 510, 570, 653, 620, 650, 580/581, ASME, and NACE.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, communication, report-writing, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), data analytics tools, and integrity management software is an advantage.
