Job summary

Employment requires a Training Instructor – Armament to prepare and deliver theoretical and practical training at the Qatar Typhoon Training Facility, with mentoring within the operational environment. You will assess trainees, report progress, and maintain competencies across squadron personnel.

The role demands strong safety, PPE compliance, and capability to manage training data, equipment checks, and course enhancements in line with the syllabus.

Qualifications

• Training qualification at Level 3 or above.
• NVQ3/ONC in relevant aircraft maintenance discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in Maintenance & Support with training experience.
• Understanding of Regulatory Framework for training.
• 2+ years delivering aircraft Type training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver courses per syllabus and TMIS.
• Invigilate and mark examinations and assessments.
• Continuously assess and report trainee progress.
• Developing and maintaining competencies of Squadron personnel.
• Ensure PPE usage and safety before training.
• Equipment pre-use checks and data availability.
• Training areas and equipment kept in safe condition.
• Maintain trainee discipline and report absences.
• Fulfil Course Coordinator/Subject Lead/aircraft & equipment coordinator roles.
• Develop and maintain instructor competencies.
• Identify and report course deficiencies for improvement.
