A leading company in offshore oil and gas projects is seeking an experienced professional to oversee architectural construction activities. With a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, the ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership abilities, strong knowledge of safety standards and offshore practices. This role demands commitment to health and safety objectives while managing complex operations in a multicultural environment.
Complete all mandatory safety trainings (e.g., IF+, HSE Golden Rules, Offshore training) promptly.
Demonstrate consistent commitment to HSE policies and KPIs throughout the project lifecycle.
Adhere to international and internal safety standards; actively intervene in unsafe acts and submit safety observation cards.
Lead or participate in Toolbox Meetings (TBM) for offshore operations, ensuring work is conducted safely.
Ensure all tasks are planned with consideration for SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations) conditions.
Pursue HSE objectives as directed by immediate supervisors.
Offshore Work Preparation and Execution
Responsible for coordinating, executing, and tracking architectural and hook-up activities, including :
Follow-up on architectural work preparations with EPCIC contractors.
Supervise on-site architectural construction activities, including pre-commissioning.
Ensure smooth transition of construction and pre-commissioning activities to the Commissioning team.
Provide assistance to the Commissioning team when necessary.
Liaise with contractors and subcontractors on all architectural-related matters.
Track and report contractor and subcontractor progress.
Supply KPIs and progress updates to offshore site representatives.
Generate daily and weekly reports on offshore architectural construction activities.
Participate in risk analyses and contribute to safe and efficient work execution.
Provide construction-related input during engineering and procurement phases.
Validate constructability and technical compliance of engineering deliverables.
Engage in risk assessments and participate in pre-job meetings, SIMOPS visits, and kick-off meetings.
Ensure timely preparation of work permits, complete with technical and HSE documentation.
Verify fabrication quality and ensure traceability.
Raise technical queries for review when necessary.
Attend regular offshore technical meetings with contractors and subcontractors.
Confirm proper management of as-built (RLMU) documentation by contractors.
Contribute to weekly reporting to supervisors and post-project Lessons Learned documentation.
Review and validate all construction drawings (AFC, shop drawings, as-built, etc.).
Monitor material delivery to site; participate in inspections when requested.
Verify availability of CTR materials in alignment with brownfield activity schedules to ensure operational safety and minimize offshore exposure.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience Required
Minimum 10 years' experience in offshore oil & gas projects.
Strong knowledge of offshore construction best practices.
Proven experience with SIMOPS and Brownfield conditions is essential.
Background in EPC supervision (client-side) is advantageous.
Willingness to undertake technical assignments globally.
Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and company specifications.
Fluent in English, with strong computer literacy.
Effective leadership and communication skills.
Experience in multicultural project environments; Middle East experience is a plus.
Strong analytical capabilities.
Certified in H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET safety trainings.
