Job description

Position: Applications Support / Development Specialist

Duration: 18 months (extendable)

Role Objective

Responsible for delivering advanced technical support to ensure stability, performance, and continuous improvement of Energy Components (EC) application that support critical sales and hydrocarbon accounting functions across the LNG value chain. The role requires strong technical expertise, domain knowledge, and close coordination with internal stakeholders and solution vendors to deliver projects and support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the successful and reliable delivery of system upgrades, enhancements, and new functionalities, ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with timelines.
  • Ensure ongoing support maintaining system availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Act as the technical point of contact, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Proactively monitor application performance, conduct root cause analysis, and drive incident resolution in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Maintain and improve documentation related to system configurations, support procedures, and known issues to support operational readiness.
Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.

Professional Experience

10+ years in implementing and managing IT solutions. 5+ years supporting EC Transport, Sales, Revenue modules (preferably in LNG organizations). Recognized certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Azure/SQL, Certified Application Support Specialist, or credentials in data visualization and reporting tools are highly preferred.

Technical Skills
  • Expertise in application development, configuration, and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of software design, development, and testing practices.
  • Proficient in SQL, system integration, and working with databases.
  • Experience managing IT software projects and delivering technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
