Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in real estate.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Experience with accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, Arabic mandatory.

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company’s property-related financial operations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records for real estate transactions including sales, leases, rentals, and commissions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Record and reconcile all payments, invoices, and receipts related to property projects.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts payable / receivable, and ensure timely collection of payments from tenants / clients.
  • Handle bank reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger management.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, VAT filings, and financial reporting standards.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for real estate projects.
  • Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
  • Work closely with property management, sales, and operations teams to provide financial insights.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial data and support management in decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate or property sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial regulations.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP systems, Yardi, or similar).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and Arabic speaking / reading / writing are mandatory.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
