Job summary

Work standard in Al-Rayyan, Qatar seeks an experienced Accountant to manage all financial transactions, bank reconciliations, and tax compliance. The role requires strong accounting principles knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication in English and Hindi.

CPA preferred but not required. Responsibilities include managing A/R/A/P, GL, month-end close, regulatory reporting, and internal controls documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as an Accountant.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures (GAAP).
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close.

Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank reconciliations and tax compliance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources

Requirements

• Proven working experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures (GAAP)
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) in English & Hindi is required; Arabic is a plus
• Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast‑paced environment

Qualifications
