Job Description
Key Result Areas:
- Contribute to the development and execution of Al-Mujadilah’s partnerships framework and annual activations.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, field work, and stakeholder consultations to guide program design.
- Design, organize, and implement capacity-building programs that promote women’s representation and participation in the local and global community.
- Support the Policy and Partnerships Manager in shaping and advancing the Center’s policy agenda and framework.
- Identify and engage with local, regional, and international stakeholders to foster meaningful collaborations.
- Collect and analyze departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with Al-Mujadilah’s monitoring and evaluation framework.
- Assist in authoring annual impact reports and contribute to other reporting requirements to highlight the work of Al-Mujadilah’s partnerships.
- Assist in designing surveys and research projects focused on women’s religious education, leadership skills, health, economic, and social development from the concept stage to dissemination of findings.
- Work with the Executive Director’s Office to provide data and develop reports, presentations, and other material critical to promoting Al-Mujadilah programs and impact.
- Support the development and implementation of Al-Mujadilah’s internationalization strategy.
- Other reasonable tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Gender Studies, Islamic Studies, Political Science, International Relations) and 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Proven experience in policy research and advocacy.
- Experience in capacity building and/or education program implementation and familiarity with curriculum design.
- Experience in organizing medium to large public events.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative capacity-building programs across multiple sectors and partners.
- Familiarity with working in dynamic, start-up, or cross-functional environments.
- Track record of building and sustaining institutional partnerships and collaborative programs.
- Knowledge of Muslim women’s issues and experience with faith-based or educational programming.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and strategic mindset.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in time-sensitive environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, team-oriented approach to working with individuals from varied backgrounds.
- A high level of motivation, responsibility, and commitment to women’s empowerment and institutional mission.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is required.
