Qatar Foundation seeks a capable Project Coordinator to collaborate across departments and partners, ensuring timely delivery of research projects and events. You will help develop performance indicators, manage timelines, and support communications in Arabic and English, contributing to the department’s growth and impact.
The role requires strong organizational skills, experience in research settings, and proficiency in MS Office within a busy, multi-stakeholder environment in Qatar.
Collaborate and work closely with all departments, QF entities, and partners to coordinate efforts on projects to achieve QF interests.
Develop and maintain collaborative and productive stakeholders and staff relationships with internal and external partners, scholars, and team members.
Assist in developing and delivering research projects in line with the department’s strategy and growth plan.
Contribute to the department’s evaluation and impact measurement activities, including the development of key performance indicators, progress reports, and outcome assessments.
Serve as the operational lead for research initiatives and programs within the department’s portfolio.
Manage timelines, logistics, and deliverables across the department's research programs and initiatives (e.g., Jadal Conference, research grant cycles, academic training programs, seminar series).
Co-ordinate with scholars, partners, and stakeholders to effectively manage department initiatives.
Lead or support the end-to-end planning and execution of departmental events, from concept development through to post-event evaluation.
Perform qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, including desk research and field work.
Support scholars with drafting, editing and proof reading of research reports, policy briefs, articles, blogs, and other published materials.
Draft, edit, and translate project correspondence and materials in Arabic and English, and handle inquiries and ongoing communication.
Provide support, primarily in one department or function, performing a range of services and work assignments (e.g., responding to client issues, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports).
Provide administrative support by participating in the research, documentation, organization, storage and retrieval of information for the department.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2 – 5 years of relevant full-time work experience in projects coordination in education or research settings.
Demonstrated excellence in projects coordination.
Strong organizational and research skills.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is required
Proficiency in MS Office applications
