FamilyWell Health is an AI-enabled mental health start-up dedicated to solving the women’s mental health crisis by embedding high quality, equitable, and affordable mental health care into OB/Gyn practices. FamilyWell provides comprehensive virtual mental health services designed for integration into OB/Gyn and Family Medicine practices using the psychiatric collaborative care model. Our virtual care team delivers evidence-based coaching, therapy, care coordination, and psychiatric services with specialized expertise in perinatal mental health and perimenopause/menopause.

Location: Remote

Department: Care Operations

Reports to: Lead Therapist

Job type: Part-time, 10-30 hours per week as a 1099/contractor

Compensation: $80 per 60-minute session (inclusive of intake and follow-up) plus a 2-hour allotment per month for administrative compensation

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual tele-therapy to patients requesting regular sessions using FamilyWell’s virtual platform.
  • Conduct one-on-one psychological intakes for referred FamilyWell program patients, gathering comprehensive assessments to inform treatment planning.
  • Document patient progress comprehensively, sharing treatment recommendations with medical providers, psychiatric consultants, and other treating professionals as needed.
  • Facilitate treatment plan modifications for patients needing more intensive or specialized mental health care, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
  • Develop and deliver Care Plans post-session, offering patients actionable insights and follow-up steps.
Qualifications
  • Licensed mental health provider with an active license in MA. All applicants must be able to practice independently without supervision.
  • Licensures that qualify include: LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC.

  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Experience
  • Formal perinatal/peri/menopause mental health training or a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience with pregnant and/or postpartum and/or peri/menopause patients is strongly preferred.
Preferred Certification
  • Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International is recommended but not required.
  • Certification in treatment of the Peri/Menopause population is recommended but not required.
