Job summary

ITConnect seeks an experienced Windows Expert to join a technology team driving automation and DevOps improvements. The role focuses on patch management redesign, OS image automation, and cloud migration support within a SAFe Scrum environment.

You will implement GPOs and security baselines, manage Windows Server platforms, and collaborate with engineers to maintain robust IT infrastructure. Strong PowerShell and SCCM expertise required.

Qualifications

• Experience with patch management and SCCM
• Proficiency in PowerShell and automation
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server platforms (2019/2022/2025)
• Strong Active Directory and Group Policy expertise
• Familiarity with design of OS images and automation
• Experience with SAFe Scrum framework and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of cloud migrations (GCP/Azure) and hybrid environments
• Proficient in Git and Jira for DevOps workflows
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Redesign patch management procedures using SCCM
• Design and implement automation processes using CI/CD technologies with PowerShell
• Design and implement GPOs and security baselines
• Act as the OS specialist with deep knowledge of the platform and IT landscape
• Support the team in building new OS images through automation
• Advise on and support cloud migrations (on-prem to cloud)
• Collaborate with platform owner and scrum team on engineering backlog
• Create documentation of automation processes for end users and engineers
• Collaborate within a SAFe Scrum framework
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and system administration on Windows platform
• Strong command of Active Directory and Group Policy
• Experience configuring core network services (DNS, DHCP, IP routing)
• Hybrid cloud knowledge with GCP and Azure
• Disaster recovery design including backup routines and failover

We are looking for an experienced Windows Expert to join an innovative technology team, working with cutting-edge automation technologies and contributing to the continuous improvement of the platform through modern DevOps practices.

• Redesign patch management procedures using SCCM
• Design and implement automation processes using CI/CD technologies with PowerShell
• Design and implement GPOs and security baselines
• Act as the OS specialist with deep knowledge of the platform and surrounding IT landscape (Network, Storage, Virtualization, Active Directory)
• Support the team in building new OS images through automation
• Advise on and support cloud migrations, including from on-premises environments
• Work closely with the platform owner and scrum team on the engineering backlog
• Create comprehensive documentation of automation processes and procedures for end users, engineers, and architects
• Collaborate within a SAFe Scrum framework
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and system administration support on the Windows platform
• High proficiency in PowerShell and other relevant programming languages
• Extensive experience with configuration management tools, particularly SCCM
• Strong expertise in Windows Server platforms (Windows 2019, 2022, 2025)
• Proficiency with software development tools including Git and Jira
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong command of Active Directory and Group Policy, including domain structures, user access control, replication, and policy deployment
• Experience configuring and managing core network services (DNS, DHCP, IP routing)
• Hybrid cloud knowledge — connecting on-premises environments with cloud vendors such as GCP and Azure
• Experience designing disaster recovery solutions, including backup routines, failover clustering, and business continuity planning
