Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking engineers to join our Windows Platform Team in Kraków. This is not a day-to-day IT support role; focus is on building robust automation to deploy and manage Windows and Active Directory at a massive scale in mission-critical systems.

You will develop tools for automated installation, configuration, and hands-off management, collaborating in an agile, global environment to ensure secure and reliable infrastructure deployment.

Qualifications

• Administration, deployment, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows OS (Server and Client) and Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
• Grasp of programming/scripting concepts (e.g., variables, control structures, loops, error handling).
• Knowledge of languages such as Python, Bash, or C# is welcome; PowerShell mastery will be developed here.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining software solutions for automated installation and configuration of Windows Server and Client OS.
• Designing and implementing automated solutions to manage complex Active Directory environments for critical networks.
• Writing clean, scalable scripts to enable hands-off system management.

Job Description We are seeking engineers to join our Windows Platform Team. To be clear: this is not a day-to-day IT support or traditional sysadmin role. Instead of manual administration or resetting passwords, your focus will be on building robust automation. You will develop the tools that deploy and manage Windows and Active Directory at a massive scale, in mission-critical communication systems.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Developing and maintaining software solutions for the automated installation and configuration of Windows Server and Client Operating Systems.
• Designing and implementing automated solutions to manage complex Active Directory environments for critical communication networks.
• Writing clean, scalable scripts to enable efficient, hands-off system management.
• Collaborating in an agile, global environment to make infrastructure deployment effortless, secure, and reliable.

Basic Requirements

What You Need to Succeed: Administration, deployment, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows OS (Server and Client) and Active Directory in an enterprise environment. A grasp of programming/scripting concepts (e.g., variables, control structures, loops, error handling). If you know these concepts in any language (Python, Bash, C#, etc.), we will help you master PowerShell!

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile processes. (Don't worry if you aren't an expert yet- these are core to our workflow, and you'll get plenty of hands-on experience learning them here).
• Networking & Security: An understanding of TCP/IP networking and TLS/PKI concepts.
