Job summary

Responsibilities

Job Description

Integration & TSA Exit

• Integration analytics: provide the commercial analysis behind integration decisions, including analysis on customer and account, channels, both indirect and direct portfolio and segment and coverage analytics
• Commercial reporting: build and enhance sales reporting and analytics currently provided under Transition Service Agreements, so that Biosciences EMEA has an independent, sustainable analytics capability in place ahead of TSA exit
• Capability building: support the evaluation and deployment of practices and tools across the organization such as instrument replacement targeting, funnel management and sales force standards
• Integration tracking: maintain the commercial reporting that tracks integration milestones, revenue continuity and customer retention through integration lifecycle

Sales & Commercial Performance Analytics

• Performance reporting: build and maintain dashboards covering sales performance by country, channel, product and customer segment, with definitions applied consistently across EMEA and across systems
• Trend and driver analysis: analyze growth, decline and mix changes, and identify the underlying drivers to support commercial decision making
• Insight generation: help turn findings into clear recommendations and prioritized actions for EMEA teams

Customer, Installed Base & Portfolio Analytics

• Installed base analytics: maintain and analyze the instrument installed base
• Reagent pull-through: analyze consumable pull-through against installed instruments, identify performance gaps and opportunities for growth

Pipeline, Forecasting & SFE Analytics

• Pipeline health: maintain and enhance pipeline and Win Room data; analyze funnel conversion, stage progression, deal velocity and win rates
• Forecast accuracy: support the measurement of forecast accuracy at country and EMEA level
• Predictive analytics: develop and test models supporting opportunity scoring, conversion likelihood and demand patterns
• Data quality: monitor and report on CRM data integrity and work with country teams to implement improvement plans

Automation, Engineering & Enablement

• Data preparation: build and maintain repeatable data pipelines and models feeding the EMEA reporting estate
• Version control: maintain all queries, scripts, models and reporting logic in Git, using branching, pull requests and peer review as standard practice
• Automation: replace manual analysis steps with repeatable processes and reduce the time taken to answer recurring questions
• Documentation: maintain clear documentation of data sources, logic and process, so that analysis is reproducible, transferable and not dependent on any single individual

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics or a related quantitative field; Master's a plus
• 2+ years of experience in commercial analytics, sales operations, data analytics or a comparable analytical role; strong graduates with relevant placement or internship experience will be considered
• Experience in Healthcare, MedTech, Pharma or Life Sciences is advantageous

Required

Technical Skills

• Power BI: working knowledge of data modelling and report building, with the ability to develop into scalable, self-service dashboards
• MS Excel: advanced, including large data sets, lookups, pivot tables and Power Query
• MS PowerPoint: able to produce clear, executive-ready output
• SQL: able to write and optimize queries against relational data sources
• Python: working knowledge for data preparation, analysis and automation
• Git: practical experience of version control for analytical code and reporting assets, including branching, pull requests, code review and repository hygiene

Desirable

• Salesforce (SFDC) reporting, objects and data structures
• CPQ systems
• Statistical and machine learning methods applied to commercial data
• Data warehouse and cloud data platforms
• Power BI Service administration, deployment pipelines and row-level security
