Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Water and Drainage Engineer to contribute to the design of water and sewer systems and related infrastructure. The role involves creating technical drawings, models, and documentation for international projects in a hybrid working model.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, perform hydraulic analyses, and mentor junior staff. Fluency in English (B2) and CAD proficiency are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering.
• English language skills, B2 level, both verbal and written.
• Experience in independent design of underground utility systems (stormwater, water supply, sanitary sewer, district heating, natural gas).
• Proficient knowledge of CAD software (Autodesk/Bentley).
• Experience in international projects and with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Civil 3D).
• Experience creating hydrological and hydraulic models and using GIS tools (MapInfo/ArcGIS/QGIS).
• Civil Engineering License

Responsibilities

• Preparing technical documentation for construction, execution, conceptual, and tender designs for water and sewage, natural gas, district heating, and land improvement systems.
• Preparing technical drawings and diagrams, technical descriptions, and presentations of applied technical solutions.
• Performing branch-specific calculations.
• Preparing bills of quantities.
• Actively participating in coordination meetings.
• Advising, training, and supervising junior staff.
