Job summary

Jobtailor in Kraków is seeking an experienced Finance professional to manage Legal Warranty and Extended Warranty provisions, perform general Ledger activities, and support month-end closings.

You will monitor warranty claims, analyse cost trends, maintain data quality, and collaborate with sales, customer service, and legal teams. The role requires a degree in finance or accounting, 3+ years of experience, fluent Polish and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance/Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with analytical focus.
• Intermediate English and fluent Polish.
• Solid accounting knowledge including financial statements, provisions and accruals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with complex datasets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and strong Excel skills.
• SAP preferred.
• Proactive mindset with ability to anticipate challenges.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in resolving issues via calls and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, analyze, and maintain provisions for Legal Warranty and Extended Warranty programs
• Perform General Ledger accounting activities with focus on accuracy and compliance
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations for warranty-related accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and post journal entries, including complex month-end warranty accruals
• Support period-end closing activities in line with corporate timelines
• Monitor warranty claims, analyze cost trends, and adjust reserves based on historical data
• Maintain high data quality standards and ensure timely reporting
• Build and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders across sales, customer service, and legal departments
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within warranty accounting and reporting
• Report to the RTR Team Leader
