Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a seasonal Warehouse Worker in Warsaw to participate in all warehouse receiving and distribution functions. You will receive products, verify quantities, assemble and fill orders, and maintain inventories, while following AVI policies and procedures and communicating safety concerns.

The role requires the ability to work in temperature extremes and stand for extended periods, with a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Great work ethic.
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
