Job summary

State Street in Poland is seeking a Senior PMO Analyst to lead governance reporting, transform complex programme data into clear management narratives, and maintain the RAID log with rigor. This role operates across PMO activity domains and interfaces with senior stakeholders and client contacts.

The position requires strong analytical and writing skills, JIRA/Confluence proficiency, and advanced Microsoft Office and Power BI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, business, MBA or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience managing business projects in large, global financial service industry organizations or consulting firms.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, full English proficiency.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Project Management tools.
• Advanced project management skills supported by relevant credential (PRINCE II, PMP or equivalent).
• Proven leadership and presentation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with an executive audience.
• Ability to coach and develop a high performing staff.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the PMO governance framework across all program workstreams.
• Chair cross-workstream coordination forums and resolve blockers that cannot be addressed at workstream level.
• Review and challenge all governance pack content before Programme Director approval — RAG statuses, RAID entries, milestone status.
• Draft and own all escalation papers presented to the Programme Board and Steering Committee.
• Challenge workstream leads when reported status is inconsistent with observed programme performance.
• Own the go-live readiness assessment and present it to the board.
• Maintain a single source of truth for programme status, risks, issues and decisions.
• Ensure the governance cadence is enforced - meeting rhythm, pack distribution timelines, action follow-through.
• Manage and develop the PMO team - Sr PMO Analyst, PMO Analyst and PMO Coordinator.
