Introduction & Summary
The role of VMWare Aria Developer focuses on workflow automation and development of XaaS services, particularly with vRealize Automation 8.x. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency in programming languages and be skilled in utilizing various tools for efficient system integration, supported by a collaborative mindset to guide less experienced developers.
Main Responsibilities
Develop new activity elements.
Build workflows in the orchestrator and/or Cloud assembly.
Guide and support less experienced developers.
Support the setup of the VRA platform.
Work based on documentation/requirements/instructions.
Build integrations to other applications/systems.
Key Requirements
Experience in workflow automation and development of XaaS services.
Experience from vRealize Automation 8.x and its components, particularly vRealize Orchestrator.
Understanding of YAML and JSON.
Understanding of CI/CD processes.
Experience using Atlassian products, especially Bitbucket and Jira.
Understanding of Node.JS and experience with self-service portals or other content management platforms.
