Medical University of Lodz in Poland invites applications for the position of University Professor in the Research and Teaching Group within the Faculty of Medicine. The Dean announces a competition for the position to advance educational and scientific activities at a high level.

The appointee will lead the clinical team, conduct active scientific work including grant acquisition and publishing, coordinate activities of students including the English-language division, and participate in

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Significant academic record in a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of English at least level B2.
• Specialist title for clinical/diagnostic specialities.
• Experience in training research staff and educating students.
• Experience raising funds for scientific research from external sources.

Responsibilities

• Leading the clinical team in delivering educational activities.
• Conducting active scientific work including research projects, grant acquisition, publishing and conferences.
• Coordinating scientific activities of students from the Faculty of Medicine (including the English-language division).
• Participating in training programmes related to academic activities.
• Taking an active part in university-wide initiatives.
