A growing technology startup is seeking a Technical Leader to co-lead a team fostering a healthy engineering culture and driving product capabilities for public transport agencies. The ideal candidate has over 5 years in engineering and at least 3 years in a leadership role, with a strong grasp of modern software architecture and excellent communication skills. Flexible remote work options are available.
Together with a Product Owner, you will co-lead the tribe that delivers the product capabilities public transport agencies need to adopt our automated ticketing technology in their regions. This includes the FAIRTIQ mobile apps and SDKs, an end-user portal, a fare calculation and optimisation engine, invoicing, and more. In this role, you are a people leader and a hands-on technical leader who guide 20+ engineers across four squads to maintain a healthy, high-performing engineering culture aligned with our values. You will drive strategic alignment, guide technical architecture and delivery, and advance FAIRTIQ’s mission of simplifying access to public transport. Your technical and people leadership will directly influence FAIRTIQ’s success and future growth.
