Tate & Lyle is seeking a student for the Global Shared Services Centre in Łódź, focusing on Finance and Accounting support. You will assist with process compliance, documentation, and daily T&E tasks while learning the business and standards of a global SSC.

You will work under supervision to meet KPIs, develop knowledge of T&E processes, and gain exposure to international finance operations in a large, proactive environment.

Formación

• Student status, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economics.
• Experience in an international organisation would be an advantage.
• Basic Finance and Accounting knowledge is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Support team in ensuring process compliance with internal procedures.
• Assist updating process documentation (DPMs) under guidance of seniors.
• Conduct initial checks in Concur.
• Handle basic daily enquiries related to T&E operations.
• Contribute to meeting departmental KPIs and SLAs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and share ideas.

Starting operations in 2011 with less than 50 people, we now have over 350 employees supporting operations globally. We have 30 teams operating in Łódź to provide service in the areas of Finance, Customer Service, Procurement, HR/People Services, and IS/IT

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Supporting the team in ensuring process compliance with internal procedures and guidelines.
• Assisting with updating process documentation (DPMs) under the guidance of senior team members.
• Conducting initial checks in Concur.
• Handling basic daily enquiries related to T&E operations.
• Contributing to meeting departmental targets by working in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and sharing ideas to enhance process efficiency.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the T&E function to support smooth service delivery.
• Taking part in cleansing activities and projects.
• Learning and developing knowledge in T&E.
• Preparing simple regular and ad hoc reports as requested.

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Student status, preferred in Finance and Accounting, Economy, or a related field
• Experience gained in an international organisation (ideally shared services) would be an advantage
• Knowledge of other SSC specific process would be beneficial
• Basic Finance and Accounting knowledge
• Basic skills on MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and in writing
• Additional language will be an advantage.
• SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of T&E processes would be an advantage.
