Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Trainee Installation Specialist to travel to customer sites and assist with installing CribMaster hardware, including intelligent storage cabinets and tool tracking units.

You will gain hands-on experience while learning RFID fundamentals and safe working practices. The role involves frequent travel, with 2–3 weeks per month visiting sites across EMEA, under the guidance of the Installation Team Lead.

Qualifications

• Willingness to develop mechanical aptitude through training.
• Strong interest in technology, hardware, software, and tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidance.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.
• Willingness to travel frequently, often weekly.

Responsibilities

• Support installation of CribMaster hardware at customer sites.
• Assist with pre-project requirement gathering.
• Learn RFID, hardware setup and safe working practices.
• Support maintenance, troubleshooting, and data validation.
• Assist end-user guidance and customer training.
• Record-keeping and time logging per installation processes.
