Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced DBA to join a specialized team focused on trading-related database operations. You will maintain SQL Server databases, ensure high availability, and drive performance optimization across data-transfer workflows and security controls.

The role involves on-going tuning, issue resolution, and automation scripting using PowerShell with dbatools, while supporting migration initiatives and on-call operations as needed.

Qualifications

• SQL Server 2016/2019 admin including SSRS/SSIS.
• Strong T-SQL and query optimization skills.
• Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of database partitioning.
• Familiarity with SSRS administration and report development.
• PowerShell scripting (dbatools).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SQL Server databases with high availability.
• Monitor overall database health and system metrics.
• Perform tuning and optimization of databases.
• Diagnose and resolve database-related issues.
• Refine and enhance SQL procedures and queries.
• Develop and deploy database scripts for automation tasks.
• Administer Change Tracking and Replication processes.
• Participate in migration initiatives.
• Suggest improvements to increase availability and performance.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
