The Trade Finance Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of operational trade finance activities, with a focus on guarantees and related bank interactions. The role ensures transparency and reliability of guarantee processes by maintaining high-quality transaction processing, fee allocation and reporting. It contributes to efficient treasury operations by executing standardized processes within a GBS environment and ensuring data accuracy across treasury systems, banking platforms and accounting interfaces.
The Trade Finance Specialist performs operational trade finance activities, primarily related to the processing and administration of guarantees. The role ensures that all guarantee-related transactions are accurately recorded, monitored and processed in the respective systems. It coordinates workflows across internal departments, banks and insurance providers based on defined processes and responsibilities and ensures timely follow-up on outstanding items. Additionally, the role supports reporting, fee allocation and cost distribution activities in alignment with accounting requirements and predefined guidelines.
