Valeo Lighting Systems in Poland is expanding its Development Center for front and rear lighting systems. We are seeking an experienced Process/Manufacturing Engineer PTM to design and optimize plastic injection tooling, validate molds, and coordinate with suppliers.

Valeo Lighting Systems
The plant produces front and rear car lights using advanced technology of metallization, assembly and plastic injection including multicomponent and multi-color injections. It also has a fully equipped measurement laboratory with a unique photometric testing tunnel. As a result of growth, Valeo Lighting Systems is currently opening a new Development Center, which focuses on developing and manufacturing lighting systems for passenger cars.
To check and validate the design of plastics injection components with regard to the injection process and the tooling manufacturability
To analyze the rheology simulations in order to orient the design optimization , Standard for Valeo requirement file , standard components for molds , design rules
To define the SVRF for molds suppliers sourcing in coordination with the Tooling Buyer and Mechanical Design Leader
To analyze the OT1 part, to define and follow the corrective action plan with supplier until completion
To ensure the mold tooling validation (Design validation, top milling , reception)
To setup the molds tooling after arrival in Valeo Plant and tune all the relevant injection parameters until all the process/product objectives are achieved and pass process audit and initial samples milestones
To respect the projects planning and in particular all the milestones and deliverables related to plastic injection
To ensure the capitalization and standardization of the best practices - To contribute to the improvement plan
To make the reporting to his hierarchy (status, performance, effectiveness and efficiency) and propose associated action plans
To contribute to all the quality standards to guarantee to the Customer, products and services in conformity
To respects all standards and regards to the management of the environment and prevention of the risks in order to guarantee the good performance of the system of Health Safety Environment management
Other responsibilities according to competences , professional experience and business needs - prior agreed between employee and N+1
Fulfill the KPI’s
To support Management on some tasks agreed like KPI follow up, Moldmaker performances, training plans, hours budgets
Higher technical education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Plastics Processing, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a position related to engineering, injection molding processes, or tooling development.
Professional experience in the automotive industry.
Experience in the development, design, and implementation of injection molds.
Practical knowledge of plastic injection molding technology, including process start-up, setup, tuning, and optimization.
Knowledge of the principles of designing and manufacturing injection molds.
Fluent English, both spoken and written.
Very strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Independence, proactivity, and strong decision-making skills.
