Test Lead – Mobile Automation

Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Test Lead to drive end-to-end testing for mobile deliveries (iOS/Android). You will own the test strategy, lead QA engineers, and stay hands-on with automation using Java, Appium, Selenium, and Cucumber.

You will coordinate testing across system, integration, and UAT, define test plans, build mobile automation frameworks, and report progress to stakeholders while pushing QA process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Test Lead.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Appium, Selenium and Cucumber.
• Experience in functional, regression, exploratory, UAT, compatibility, and non-functional testing.
• Knowledge of Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Git Flow, Jira, Confluence.
• Experience with Postman/Insomnia and SQL/DB.
• Understanding of APIs, GCP, client-server interactions, environments and test data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to accessibility testing and mobile analytics/tagging validation.

Responsibilities

You will own the test strategy, lead QA engineers, and remain hands-on with mobile automation using Java, Appium, Selenium, and Cucumber (BDD). The role requires a strong balance of automation-first testing, targeted exploratory testing, defect management, and stakeholder communication.
