Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced QA/Test Engineer to drive automated testing for banking systems, focusing on customer communications and document management. You will execute functional, automated, and performance tests, report defects, and ensure quality across departments.

Responsibilities include test planning, data preparation, tool enhancement, and maintaining test environments, while collaborating with developers and business stakeholders. Fluency in Polish and English is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of automated testing experience.
• Hands-on with Playwright or Selenium.
• Practical SoapUI experience and functional testing.
• Ability to produce test reports and maintain test docs.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence and test planning.
• SQL querying skills and data verification.
• Familiar with TDD/BDD approaches.
• Fluent Polish and strong English (min B2).

Job description

Join the team developing key banking systems, where you will be responsible for comprehensive testing of solutions supporting customer communication and document management across the organization. Working within the team, you will test IT solutions, perform functional, automated, and performance tests according to documentation, and collaborate with other departments.

Your tasks

• Executing functional, automated, and performance tests according to business requirements and test scenarios
• Identifying, analyzing, and reporting defects, and monitoring their resolution process
• Collaborating with project teams, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure software quality
• Verifying compliance of delivered solutions with technical and business requirements
• Preparing and maintaining documentation and test data necessary for test execution
• Implementing and improving tools, processes, and best practices in testing
• Managing and maintaining test environments, user accounts, and test resources

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in creating automated tests and strong knowledge of Playwright/Selenium
• Practical knowledge of SoapUI and experience in functional testing
• Ability to create test result reports and update test documentation
• Experience analyzing documentation, preparing test plans and test cases, and familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Previous experience writing database queries in SQL
• Knowledge of TDD/BDD methodologies
• Fluent Polish language skills
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
