Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a team developing banking systems. You will test IT solutions, perform functional, automated, and performance tests according to business requirements, and collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to ensure software quality.

Responsibilities include creating test plans and cases, reporting defects, maintaining test data, and developing testing tools and best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience creating automated tests.
• Experience with Playwright and/or Selenium in test automation.
• SoapUI experience and functional testing knowledge.
• Ability to create test result reports and maintain test documentation.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for test management.
• SQL query knowledge for validating data.
• Knowledge of TDD/BDD methodologies.
• Fluent Polish and English at least B2 level.

Job description

Join the team developing key banking systems, where you will be responsible for comprehensive testing of solutions supporting customer communication and document management across the organization. Working within the team, you will test IT solutions, perform functional, automated, and performance tests according to documentation, and collaborate with other departments.

Your tasks

• Execution of functional, automated, and performance tests according to business requirements and test scenarios
• Identification, analysis, and reporting of defects, as well as monitoring their resolution process
• Collaboration with project teams, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure software quality
• Verification of delivered solutions against technical and business requirements
• Preparation and maintenance of documentation and test data necessary for testing
• Implementation and development of tools, processes, and best practices in testing
• Management and maintenance of test environments, user accounts, and test resources

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in creating automated tests and strong knowledge of Playwright/Selenium
• Practical knowledge of SoapUI and experience in functional testing
• Ability to create test result reports and update test documentation
• Experience in analyzing documentation, preparing test plans and test cases, and knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Previous experience in writing SQL database queries
• Knowledge of TDD/BDD methodologies
• Fluent in Polish
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level
