Job summary

Zscaler, Inc. is seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) to join our team in a remote capacity. You will lead hands-on PoV engagements, architect lab environments, and provide technical training and deployment guides to accelerate customer adoption of our Zero Trust solutions.

You will collaborate across engineering, field teams, and partners, delivering comprehensive technical collateral and ensuring readiness for real-world deployments in distributed edge environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical marketing, solutions architecture, or advanced systems engineering.
• Deep subject matter expertise in enterprise routing, switching, TCP/IP, L2/L3 network segmentation, and tunneling protocols (WireGuard, IPsec, VxLAN).
• Proven track record of leading and winning hands-on PoV pilots and executive architectural evaluations in complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on proficiency in building and maintaining multi-vendor physical and virtual lab topologies using bare-metal appliances, hypervisors (ESXi, KVM), and lab emulation platforms (EVE-NG, GNS3).
• Advanced packet analysis and troubleshooting with Wireshark, tcpdump, and traffic generation tools.
• Demonstrated ability to author deployment runbooks, reference architectures, white papers, and deliver enablement sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Customer PoV engagements and field validations with enterprise prospects to validate capabilities and accelerate deal closure.
• Architect, build, and maintain advanced lab topologies simulating enterprise branch and edge networks for product testing.
• Drive complex technical troubleshooting and escalation resolution between field teams and engineering for live pilots.
• Author technical documentation and deployment guides and reference architectures.
• Deliver field readiness and enablement training for systems engineers and partners.
