Do you thrive on transforming complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly content that empowers customers? MacGregor is looking to hire a Technical Documentation Specialist to join our team. The purpose of this role is to ensure manuals are created efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Creating manuals and their modules
  • Preparing and developing the content of the manuals in cooperation with the new building design department
  • Handling updates of new revisions of the old manuals
  • Maintaining and developing manual software tools and procedures

Reporting directly to the Technical Documentation Manager. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office Gdansk, Poland. This position operates on a hybrid model, requiring an on-site presence of three days per week.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

The ideal candidate for this role can make decisions independently and work under pressure to meet deadlines without detailed instructions. You need to have good interpersonal and communication skills as well as an ability to work in an international business environment and a matrix organization.

Ideal Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Documentation field or other equivalent university degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical design or technical editing
  • Understanding of technical documentation and drawing standards
  • Experience in using technical writer’s tools like Arbortext and FrameMaker
  • Problem solving skills
  • Customer service, cost-aware and marketing mindset
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
