Job summary

GoMining is seeking a senior Tech Lead to guide a small engineering team and own the technical direction, architecture, and quality of backend systems. You will remain hands-on, shaping scalable Go services and distributed architectures while mentoring engineers and driving delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong commercial Go (Golang) experience.
• Experience designing scalable architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and asynchronous communication patterns.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and REST APIs.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience leading engineers and driving technical and architectural decisions.
• Strong hands-on approach — you are comfortable staying close to the code and contributing to production development.
• Strong understanding of engineering best practices, code quality, testing, and system reliability.
• Experience using AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar in daily development

Job description

We are looking for a strong Tech Lead with deep software engineering and backend expertise to lead a small engineering team and take ownership of technical decisions, architecture, and engineering quality.

This is a hands‑on role — you will drive the technical direction of the team while staying deeply involved in production development, architecture, and solving complex engineering challenges.

You will lead a small cross‑functional team consisting of 3 Software Engineers and 2 QA Engineers.

Our core backend stack is Go, so we are looking for someone with strong commercial Golang experience and a solid background in building scalable, distributed systems.

We also expect you to actively leverage AI tools to improve engineering quality, productivity, and development velocity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong commercial experience with Go (Golang)
• Strong backend and software engineering background
• Experience designing scalable architectures and distributed systems
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and asynchronous communication patterns
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and REST APIs
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience leading engineers and driving technical and architectural decisions
• Strong hands‑on approach — you are comfortable staying close to the code and contributing to production development
