Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates in Poznań is seeking a dynamic Team Leader to join the production floor. You will lead 25-50 associates, ensure safety, quality, and operational standards, and drive KPIs on your shift.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification required.
• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication across levels and handling challenging situations.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools and problem solving.
• Knowledge of ISO, GMP, Food Safety, and EHS Standards.
• Fluency in Polish and English.
• Willingness to work a shift system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality, and operational standards and meet KPIs (service, cost, waste, efficiency) for production lines during the shift.
• Lead, develop, and engage the team through recruitment, training, performance management and communication.
• Build an effective team and embed a continuous improvement culture and behaviors.
• Act as a role model for Mars' Five Principles and lead shift operations per Mars Wrigley operating model (MSE).
• Lead daily operations, line tours, team connection points, and root cause analysis to address deviations.
• Collaborate with Value Stream to drive Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence projects.
• Translate business goals into actionable shift-level plans for the team.

Location: Poznań

We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Team Leader to join our team in Poznań. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards, while delivering key performance targets for your production area. You will lead, develop, and motivate a team of 25-50 associates, fostering a culture of proactivity and continuous improvement and acting as a key leader on the factory floor.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Ensure all standards are met (safety, quality, operational) and deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as service, cost, waste, and efficiency for your production lines during the shift.
• Lead, develop, and engage your team through effective recruitment, training, performance management, and communication.
• Build an effective team and a proactive culture by embedding a continuous improvement mindset and behaviours.
• Act as a role model for Mars' Five Principles and lead shift operations according to the Mars Wrigley operating model (MSE).
• Lead daily operational processes, including line tours, team connection points, and root cause analysis to address any deviations.
• Collaborate with the Value Stream team to drive Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence projects.
• Deploy the factory and Value Stream strategy to your team, translating business goals into actionable shift-level plans.

What are we looking for?

• A technical qualification is required.
• Experience in leading teams, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• A strong communicator with a demonstrated ability to relate to people at all levels and manage challenging situations.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools and complex problem-solving.
• Knowledge of ISO, GMP, Food Safety, and EHS Standards.
• Fluency in Polish and very good communication in English.
• Strong analytical capabilities, planning skills, and a results-driven mindset.
• Willingnes to work a shift system.
