Team Leader, Digital marketing enablement
- Guide, support, and participate in the recruitment process of an in-house team of digital marketing and digital communications professionals.
- Oversee the team workflow and end-to-end delivery of assignments from internal customers within agreed deadlines.
- Develop and maintain digital marketing and digital communications processes.
- Participate in digital marketing and digital communications work with the team, and oversee the quality and efficiency of work, ensuring alignment with processes and brand goals.
- Ensure that the work delivered to UPM's businesses meets expectations through interviews and feedback surveys.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications network at UPM to provide guidance and support on consistent application of digital marketing and digital communications processes.
- Manage relationships with partners supporting UPM's Marketing, Sustainability, and Communications Hub, providing direction and feedback to ensure consistency and high quality.
- Develop and deliver training programs and materials to ensure understanding and adherence to digital marketing and digital communications processes.
- Stay informed of trends and best practices in digital marketing and digital communications to continually evolve and enhance team capabilities.
- Demonstrate UPM values and nurture a strong team spirit and positive internal customer experience at UPM Marketing, Sustainability, and Communications Hub.
Our requirements
- You have a relevant university degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience managing digital marketing and digital communications, including managing projects and tasks for international businesses, preferably in a large B2B company.
- You possess a comprehensive understanding of the marketing process, recognizing how each touchpoint—from initial engagement to conversion—contributes to a cohesive brand presence and drives business growth.
- You have solid experience with project management tools like Monday, Trello, Basecamp, Asana, MS Planner, or Miro, which is considered an asset.
- You have a very good understanding of digital marketing and digital communications principles and tools, brand positioning, as well as business acumen and an understanding of the international business environment.
- You are a skilled professional with high attention to detail and a systematic approach to maintaining consistency and quality across all platforms, ready to perform hands-on work in the field.
- You have experience working with creative teams and agencies to develop cohesive end-to-end marketing processes, providing clear direction and constructive feedback to internal experts and agency partners.
- You have at least C1 level proficiency in Polish and English (verbal and written) to ensure effective communication and collaboration with global stakeholders, teams, and partners, along with excellent interpersonal skills for working effectively in a complex, multi-task environment with strict deadlines.
