Job summary

Nestlé is seeking a data-minded professional to manage transportation master data for the Europe zone from our Warsaw hub. The role focuses on enabling planning, execution, and settlement processes, with involvement in SAP TM, TRANSPOREON, and BI tooling.

The position offers a 6-month temporary contract with hybrid work arrangements (60% office, 40% remote) and collaboration across IBS, IT, and business teams to drive data quality and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with Logistics / Supply Chain knowledge.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Act as expert link between system/tools/providers and IBS/T-Hubs.
• Collaborate with markets, Hubs, IT, and third parties.
• Create and maintain transport master data (Lanes, Rates, Vendors, Sites).
• Ensure carriers set up in TRANSPOREON and TNX platform.
• Support data collection for tenders and alignment with Procurement.
• Identify data errors and implement health checks to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct data quality health checks and report generation.
• Support testing and deployment of new features in transportation processes.
• Onboard markets and locations regarding data preparation and validation.

Job description

We are seeking a new team member who is passionate about data, analytics and IT solutions, and eager to grow into a Master Data specialist. The primary focus of the role is to manage transportation-related Master Data for the Zone Europe in our international transportation Hub in Warsaw. The key responsibility of this role is to enable smooth transportation planning, execution and settlement processes. The Data Specialist will play an active role in contributing to new implementation and transformation projects, as transportation processes continue to evolve and improve, with an expanding scope across the European Zone. This will require close collaboration and coordination with various teams within the transportation hubs, as well as with other functions, the IT team, Integrated Business Services, carriers, and solution providers.

This role is a great opportunity to learn SAP Transportation Management as well as TRANSPOREON and other industry-standard transportation solutions. It is also a chance to be exposed to Robotic Process Automation and cutting-edge innovations in the transportation area and Power BI analytics.

Key Information

Main responsibilities will include:

• Act as an expert link between the system and relevant tools/providers, markets and businesses, Integrated Business Service (IBS), and the T-Hubs.

• Collaborate and coordinate activities with markets, Hubs, RBS/IT, and third parties.

• Enable and push for standardization.

• Create and maintain all relevant transport master data in scope, such as Transportation Lanes, Business Shares, Rate Tables, Vendors, Sites etc.

• Ensure Carriers correctly set up and extension made in TRANSPOREON and TNX carrier`s platform.

• Support Tender data collection and ensure full alignment with Procurement to ensure smooth Tender results implementation.

• Solve immediate data related errors to ensure seamless operations, put actions / health checks in place to avoid re-occurrence.

• Solve Freight Settlement charge calculations related master data issues.

• Support review and enhancement of existing KPI’s, support data extraction if required.

• Support activities regarding testing and implementation of new features as part of transformation of transportation processes.

• Support activities regarding the onboarding of markets, businesses, locations concerning preparation, testing and validation of data such as Outputs, Transportation Lanes, Means of Transports, Business Shares, Rate Tables etc.

• Define, create & perform regular data health checks to maintain high data quality standards.

• Define and share data quality reports.

• Conduct root cause investigation for recurring problems and recommend data enhancement actions.

• Drive continuous improvement to projects to maximize Nestlé's opportunity to fully utilize system functionality.

What will make You successful?

• Academic background with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems / Data Management or equivalent education combined with Logistics / Supply Chain knowledge.

• Good standard of spoken and written English.

• Knowledge of SAP TM. S4/HANA.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Planning and organization skills.

• Self-learning, structured and objective thinking to make the best decisions, solve issues, and offer solutions.

• Experience is the transport or broader SC would be a plus.
