Job summary

SOFTSWISS is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to build, maintain, and evolve reliable infrastructure for its Sportsbook platform. You will design, deploy, and manage a Kubernetes-based platform spanning bare-metal and cloud providers and implement GitOps workflows with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer, SRE, DevOps or Platform Engineer.
• Deep understanding of Linux-like operating systems (administration and troubleshooting).
• Practical experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI).
• Experience with bare-metal infrastructure (various hosting providers).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane).
• Experience with GitOps approach (Flux, ArgoCD).
• Experience with GitLab/GitHub CI/CD pipelines setup and maintenance.
• Experience with configuration management systems (Ansible, Saltstack).
• Experience with CDN, traffic and domain management (CloudFlare, Fastly, Akamai, AWS CloudFront/Route53).
• Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL cluster (Patroni, CNPG).
• Practical experience with Kafka management (Kafka, Strimzi).
• English and Russian language B1+ level (Intermediate+)
