Overview

Job Title: Senior Applications Systems Business Analyst — Remote (Contract).

Responsibilities

• Works closely with external organizations/customers on defining connectivity requirements and specifications based on suppliers capabilities as well as industry standards.
• Works with development team on daily basis; defines and accepts user stories
• Coordinates work among all teams involved in connectivity setup (Network, Applications, Middleware)
• Provides support and guidance during cutovers, new traffic activations
• Provides support for development team by analyzing customer issues. Proposes solutions to solve problems considering existing systems' capabilities/limitations, stakeholders' needs and constraints.
• Provide guidance and coordinate work with other Business Analysts, Technical Product Managers and Product Owners

Qualifications

• 5+ years Relevant professional experience as Business Analyst / TPM
• Ability to perform systems analysis and manage multiple projects workload; explain and document requirements in a clear, concise manner
• Ability to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and designing solutions; technical background required
• Airline reservations systems experience
• Project management experience
• Quality Assurance skills
• Knowledge of EDIFACT (D)
• Very good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
