Sii Poland is seeking a seasoned system analyst to join our Kraków team, focusing on banking applications, investments, payments, and mortgage processes.

You will model requirements, cooperate with business units, and maintain documentation while collaborating with IT teams in a modern modular architecture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in system or business-analysis.
• Ability to create/read UML and BPMN models.
• Experience with Enterprise Architect.
• Knowledge of REST, Kafka and WSO2.
• Experience in banking IT projects.
• Knowledge of relational databases.
• Higher technical education in computer science or related field.
• Fluent Polish and presence in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Prepare business and system analyses for banking applications.
• Define business requirements with business units.
• Gather and validate user stories.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, developers and testers.
• Manage tasks across IT teams for implemented functionality.

Join our team of system analysts working on projects in areas such as investments, domestic and international payments, mortgage loans, and everyday banking.

We are currently focused on developing and restructuring key credit processes – both on the front-end and back-end sides. We are working on a new modular architecture, gradually moving away from the old application and building solutions that will be the foundation of corporate banking for the coming years.

Your tasks

• Preparation of business and system analysis for banking applications
• Collaboration with business units to define business requirements
• Gathering and analyzing requirements as well as preparing and validating user stories
• Cooperation with stakeholders, developers, and testers in application development and quality assurance
• Coordination of tasks between IT teams regarding implemented functionality, responsible for delivering functionality
• Modeling functionality (UML or BPMN) according to the adopted standard
• Maintaining functional documentation of implemented deployments
• Working with the team backlog
• Supporting applications in the test environment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in system or business-system analysis
• Ability to create and read UML and BPMN models
• Practical experience with Enterprise Architect
• Knowledge of system communication (REST, KAFKA, WSO2)
• Experience in IT system development projects in the banking sector
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Higher technical education – computer science or related field
• Required presence in Poland and fluent knowledge of Polish language
