Job summary

Ramboll is looking for a Sustainable Energy Engineer (Thermal Energy / District Heating) to join a global team driving the energy transition in Poland. You’ll design low‑carbon energy systems, perform energy modelling, and support public and private clients in achieving climate goals across markets and borders.

You will work on district heating, CHP, heat pumps, energy storage, PtX and related technologies, with emphasis on feasibility studies and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• University degree in a technical field related to energy engineering.
• 5+ years in energy sector (district heating, thermal generation, renewables, or consulting).
• Experience with energy modelling and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on technical projects with senior consultants.
• Ensure sustainability, safety and compliance across project stages.
• Support decarbonisation and modernization of thermal energy infrastructure.
• Work on low-carbon heat generation technologies and energy supply strategies.
• Conduct feasibility studies and techno-economic analyses.
• Design and optimise sustainable energy systems and district heating concepts.
• Prepare technical documentation and assist with permitting processes.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver energy solutions.
