Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a results-driven Supply Chain professional to ensure high customer satisfaction through an efficient end-to-end process. The role emphasizes analytics, strategy execution, and cross-functional teamwork across planning, production, and logistics.

You will coordinate data-driven improvements, optimize inventory levels, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• Fluent English communication.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve customer service and support business objectives.
• Support development and execution of supply chain strategies and action plans.
• Ensure smooth information flow and cross-functional cooperation between Planning, Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, Logistics, SC Solutions, DMO, Quality and Engineering.
• Coordinate activities across the Supply Chain organization for alignment and execution.
• Analyze Supply Chain data to support operational and business decisions.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels in line with demand.
• Monitor and report Supply Chain KPIs (e.g., PLT, OTP, OD) and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support capacity management in cooperation with Supply Chain Management.
• Promote an agile and lean Supply Chain environment.
• Initiate, lead, and implement continuous improvement projects.

Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

Ensure high customer satisfaction through an effective, agile, and seamless end-to-end supply chain process.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to ensure excellent customer service while supporting Corning’s business objectives.
• Support the development and execution of Supply Chain strategies and action plans.
• Ensure smooth and effective information flow and cross-functional cooperation between Planning, Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, Logistics, SC Solutions, DMO, Quality, and Engineering.

• Coordinate and analyze Supply Chain data to support operational and business decisions.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels in line with business requirements and customer demand.
• Monitor and report Supply Chain KPIs, including PLT, OTP, and OD, and perform root cause analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support capacity management in cooperation with Supply Chain Management.
• Promote an agile and lean Supply Chain environment.
• Initiate, lead, and implement continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, preferable in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• Fluent English.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Knowledge of Lean principles is an advantage.
