Overview
(EN) Within the quality department, the Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) contributes in the onboarding of new skilled suppliers in Arabelle Solutions' supplier panel, and in qualifying them in accordance with Arabelle Solutions' processes. Responsibilities
- Manage surveillance audits: Organize surveillance audits as necessary; monitor the closure of actions resulting from on-boarding phase; record associated reports in the supplier database.
- Monitor supplier performance for Arabelle Solutions purchase orders; ensure full conformity of documents and products delivered by suppliers.
- Surveillance quality of external supplier products within the MSD Piping & Skids team for new Arabelle Solutions projects.
- Supplier onboarding phase responsibilities:
- Evaluate supplier Quality Management System through audits, including Nuclear Safety aspects if applicable.
- Assess manufacturing capabilities via Technical Evaluation (Process Audit).
- Assess supplier conformance to the SRG (Supplier Responsibility Guide).
- Record associated action plans in the supplier database.
- Supplier selection phase responsibilities:
- Prepare quality control plans.
- Participate in pre-order meetings with suppliers and Sourcing/Engineering to agree on quality control requirements.
- Participate in qualitative evaluation of offers.
- Supplier surveillance phase responsibilities:
- Establish a supplier surveillance strategy with project teams.
- Organize kick-off and pre-inspection meetings with suppliers and Arabelle Solutions representatives.
- Review supplier quality documentation (quality plans, manufacturing and test procedures, etc.).
- Inspections management:
- Coordinate the inspection program (ITTS).
- Plan supplier inspections.
- Participate in the most significant inspections.
- Ensure product conformance to contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Review and distribute inspection reports.
- Material release for shipment:
- Ensure closure of deviation points.
- Review Final Manufacturing Report.
- Authorize shipment once all quality requirements are met.
- Deviations management:
- Continuously track deviations and non-conformities from inspections until closure.
- Record and distribute non-conformities.
- Investigate root causes (8D) for major non-conformities.
- Verify implementation of corrective actions.
- Surveillance audits management:
- Organize audits when necessary.
- Monitor closure of actions resulting from integration phase.
- Record reports in the supplier database.
- Evaluation phase responsibilities:
- Support Sourcing in updating supplier qualifications in the database.
Authority
- Domains where the Supplier Quality Engineer is the decision-maker:
- Organize supplier inspections.
- Frequency of supplier interventions.
- Review/approve supplier quality control activities and request corrective actions if necessary.
- Authorize supplier shipment to the plant.
- Propose process improvements to increase project quality as needed.
- Stop work if quality or safety is at risk and define conditions to resume.
- Perform supplier audits or inspections.

Qualifications
- Engineering or university degree in quality management, mechanical or electrical fields, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience as a quality surveillance inspector or in an engineering department.
- Experience in quality management for large-scale projects.
- Strong ethics, rigor, efficiency.
- Good command of English.
Desired Skills
- Technical knowledge of power plants / nuclear facilities.
- Technical knowledge in welding and/or nondestructive testing.
- Experience with root cause analysis methodologies (8D, etc.) or quality certification (e.g., Green Belt or Black Belt).
