Job summary

Sweco Design Center Poland is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 8+ years of experience. You will perform structural calculations using Robot Structural Analysis and IDEA StatiCa, and develop BIM models with emphasis on Revit. The role requires strong English communication and knowledge of parametric design within industrial projects.

Hybrid work in Poland is available, with opportunities to collaborate across Sweco's multi-country projects in Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in structural engineering with knowledge in structural calculations (Robot Structural Analysis, IDEA StatiCa) and BIM modelling (Revit).
• Practical involvement in Parametric Design within engineering projects.
• Background in industrial structures and understanding of their specific requirements.
• Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Good to have Tekla knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations for building and industrial structures using Robot Structural Analysis and IDEA StatiCa.
• Develop, maintain and update BIM models with a strong focus on Revit.
• Ensure consistency between structural calculations and BIM models.
• Apply and further develop parametric design solutions within projects.
• Support the development of tools and solutions for the structural engineering department.

The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
