Job summary

The role focuses on building and refining automation frameworks, maintaining mock services, and expanding coverage across backend and UI. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to improve quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing with hands-on automation experience.
• Strong API and end-to-end automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks for API/backend testing.

ELEKSQuality Assurance Office is looking for a Strong Middle / Senior Test Automation Engineer (TypeScript) in Poland, Croatia, and Ukraine.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyse and assess project requirements and specifications as well as product functionality to convert them into quality control process artefacts
• Prepare and acquire test data
• Develop, execute, refactor and optimize automation scripts
• Log and evaluate results and document deviations from the expected results
• Use automation scripts administration, monitoring, and management tools
• Provide automation test environment setup
• Review test artefacts developed by others
• Contribute to automation process control definition and improvement
• Provide new automation tools or approaches investigation and implementation
• Communicate with a customer

Requirements

• 5+ years of software testing experience, including significant hands-on test automation experience
• Strong experience in API and end-to-end test automation using Playwright and TypeScript
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks for API/backend testing
• Experience setting up and maintaining mock servers and stubs for external service integrations
• Ability to extend automation coverage from backend services to frontend applications
• Good understanding of test architecture, mocking strategies, and test data management
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive mindset with ownership of test infrastructure and continuous quality improvement initiatives
