Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery in Poland is seeking a senior professional to lead local scripted content development for HBO Max. You will shape creative direction for new productions and grow the local original slate.

You will collaborate with writers, producers and internal teams to ensure high-quality storytelling, while aligning priorities with the HBO Max Development and Production group. Hybrid work arrangements apply.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional experience in scripted content development within a broadcaster, streaming platform, production company or similar.
• Strong understanding of the scripted development process including story structure and character development.
• Ability to analyze scripts and treatments and provide actionable notes.
• Knowledge of the local audiovisual market and talent landscape, with ability to build trusted relationships.
• High level of professionalism, discretion and sound judgement in creative and talent matters.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate development of scripted series with writers, producers and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships to identify and develop high-quality scripted projects and talent.
• Prepare editorial evaluations, script analyses and development notes.
• Contribute to defining creative vision and long-term development strategy.
• Provide creative guidance and feedback to writers for quality storytelling.
• Collaborate with producers, showrunners, directors and other partners throughout development.
• Work with HBO Max Development and Production and report to Lead, Original Production Poland.
