Job summary

JOYNEXT in Wroclaw is seeking a Project Purchasing Specialist to take full responsibility for purchasing activities during the PEP phase and serve as the primary contact for sourcing topics. You will work with Strategic Purchasing to select suppliers, manage RFIs, price negotiations, and develop second-source strategies for prototype and series production.

Additionally, you will handle SAP material master data, engineering change requests, and support handover to Plant Purchasing in Poland,

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Technical Business Administration, or comparable field.
• Several years in project purchasing or technical purchasing within an industrial environment.
• Experience in supplier selection, cost evaluation and negotiation.
• Auditor or Six Sigma Black Belt is an advantage.
• Strong teamwork, assertiveness and negotiation skills; good English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities across the PEP phase and act as primary contact for purchasing topics, handling RFQ types and BOM evaluation.
• Support supplier selection, RFI and sourcing, prepare sourcing boards and make-or-buy decisions; develop second-source strategies.
• Conduct technical discussions and price negotiations with suppliers, define quality standards with Quality, and manage sample parts.
• Process Engineering Change Requests, drive design-to-cost activities, and maintain SAP material master data.
• Ensure smooth handover to Plant Purchasing in Poland after series start and contribute to continuous process development.
