Job summary

Swift Recruitment is seeking a Production Planning Specialist for a multinational client based in Wrocław. You will join a newly established Production Planning team and work hybrid, three days in the office, coordinating with Manufacturing, Operations and Order Management to create feasible production plans.

Responsibilities include developing short-term plans, optimizing schedules, ensuring OTIF, and communicating production instructions.

Qualifications

• Proven production planning or scheduling experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and dependencies.
• Experience with ERP/SCM systems; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short-term and detailed production plans.
• Create and optimize production schedules, blocks, sequences and runs.
• Plan production across machines and lines to maximise capacity.
• Ensure effective utilization of manufacturing resources.
• Translate orders into feasible production schedules and instructions.
• Monitor progress and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Coordinate corrective actions when plans diverge from reality.
• Support OTIF targets and inventory optimization.
