Job summary

Sappi Europe - Cracow Centre of Process Excellence is seeking an ambitious Financial Controlling professional to join the team in Krakow. You will support centralized finance with costing, closing, reporting, and analytics across the plants, with emphasis on governance and improvement of processes.

The role requires 2+ years in financial controlling, strong Excel/SAP CO skills, and experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Minimum 2 years in Financial Controlling, manufacturing or international corporate setting.
Strong understanding of management accounting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Experience with SAP CO module and advanced Excel is required.
Familiarity with data visualization and analytics platforms like Tableau/Power BI/Looker/GCP is a plus.
Some knowledge of SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

Costing & inventory valuation, including stock reporting and cost analysis.
Period-end closing, reconciliations, postings, and cost allocations.
Prepare financial reports and develop Tableau dashboards and HFM reporting.
Maintain master data, governance-compliant documentation, and support budgeting and forecasting.
Assist Controllers and regional management in interpreting financial data and recommending improvements.
Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance processes and analytics.
