Job summary

Emerson in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a Contracts Counsel to provide contract and legal support to Emerson's European sales organization. You will review, draft, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements while partnering with business teams to manage risk and drive commercial success.

You will work with legal and business professionals in a dynamic international environment, contributing to global legal projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting commercial contracts and negotiations.
• Knowledge of warranties, liability, and payment terms.
• Ability to review and negotiate contractual language.
• Strong written and verbal English and Polish.
• Experience with digital contract management tools.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Legal education or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate, and support a variety of commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Respond to customer contractual requests and develop practical contract solutions.
• Lead contract negotiations for less complex international projects and framework agreements.
• Partner with sales, project, operations, finance, tax, compliance, supply chain, and legal stakeholders.
• Provide guidance during contract approval processes to secure necessary approvals.
• Analyze risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Research and communicate legal/regulatory requirements relevant to commercial activities.
• Support contract lifecycle management and templates.
