Job summary

Daikin Europe Business Support (DEBS) in Warsaw is seeking a skilled Controller/Analyst to join our Scandinavia-focused team. You will partner with Managing Director and HQ to drive strategy, analyze variances, and ensure accurate budgeting and reporting across multiple entities.

You will manage monthly close cycles, monitor SG&A spend, support internal controls (JSOX), and contribute to improvements in financial processes while coordinating with regional sales and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics, Business or similar.
• 3 years of experience as a controller or in analytical roles.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel skills with complex formulas.
• Proficient English.
• Willingness to travel about 1 month.

Responsibilities

• Strategic partnering with management to support business strategy.
• Maintain full P&L control via variance analysis and actions.
• Prepare, consolidate and submit HQ reporting and budgets (MMR, ER, Anaplan).
• Report to Top-Management (P&L, Budget, Revised Budget, BOD).
• Oversee budgeting cycles: Budget, Revised Budget, Forecast.
• Monitor SG&A spending and cost efficiency initiatives.
• Execute internal controls (JSOX) and self-assessments.
