Job summary

Takeda in Lodz, Poland is seeking a procurement professional to join the Technical Investments Procurement team. You will support category strategies and deliver data-driven insights to drive enterprise value, advancing cost, innovation, sustainability, risk, and operational performance.

Collaborate with category managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to execute category plans, manage supplier relationships, and realize procurement value across multiple value levers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in procurement, category management, strategic sourcing, or related function.
• Understanding of category management, sourcing, supplier management, and procurement processes.
• Experience supporting category activities, supplier evaluations, contract administration, and project delivery.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret spend data, market intelligence, and supplier performance.
• Commercial and financial acumen; understanding of negotiations, cost drivers, and value creation.
• Subject-matter expertise in Design, Construction, CQV spend categories, in healthcare, biotech or pharmaceutical.
• Ability to conduct market research and deliver insights on supplier markets and trends.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication across functions.
• Learning agility and use of digital, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Project management skills across sourcing projects.
• Experience with SAP Ariba/Wave or equivalents to support sourcing and supplier engagement.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies with market insights and supplier analysis.
• Execute category activities and procurement projects per governance and priorities.
• Identify opportunities across cost, innovation, risk, sustainability, and operational performance through data analysis and supplier engagement.
• Collaborate with Category Managers, Value Delivery Team, Takeda Business Solutions, and stakeholders to ensure effective execution of category plans.
