Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to join our team. You will act as a lead when the Store Manager is absent, help set up plan-o-grams, assist customers, stock shelves, and protect store assets while delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, operating the register, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. Previous cashier or supervisory experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash.
• Knowledge of plan-o-gram, merchandise presentation and customer service.

Mansioni

• Unload trucks according to the prescribed process for the store.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total customer’s purchase; bag merchandise.
• Collect payment from customer and make change.
• Keep store clean and safe, including sweeping and restocking.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and providing superior service.
