Job summary

Beko Europe is a leading home appliances business, offering a paid on-site internship in a dynamic, international environment in Wroclaw, Poland. The role focuses on laboratory materials testing, analytical assessments, and real-world evaluation of coatings, metals, polymers, and glasses used in household appliances.

Applicants are students or graduates in materials or materials engineering with strong English skills and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Student or graduate (a degree in materials or materials engineering will be an advantage)
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Teamwork, willingness to learn, time management, responsibility, reliability, adaptability, communication skills, problem-solving mindset, attention to detail
• Availability: minimum 35 hours per week (on-site internship)

Responsibilities

• Contributing to laboratory materials testing and analytical assessments
• Performing tests on coatings, metals, polymers, and glasses according to BEKO testing procedures and specifications
• Verifying key material characteristics, including chemical resistance, mechanical resistance, scratch resistance, corrosion resistance, temperature resistance
• Other relevant performance properties as part of material evaluation

Your responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to laboratory materials testing and analytical assessments,
• Performing tests on coatings, metals, polymers, and glasses according to BEKO testing procedures and specifications,
• Verifying key material characteristics, including:
• Chemical resistance,
• Mechanical resistance,
• Scratch resistance,
• Corrosion resistance,
• Temperature resistance,
• Other relevant performance properties.

Our requirements:
